Bristol Head Office & Rehab Facility

In addition to acting as our headquarters, our Bristol Clinic fulfils a range of primary, secondary, and aftercare roles within the Gladstones Clinic network. Here, we offer primary care for substance addiction, eating disorders, and mental health disorders on a non-residential daycare basis; live-in residential secondary care with access to Gladstones Clinic’s resources; and aftercare aimed at maintaining long-term sobriety.

Gladstones Clinic Bristol Services

1. Non-residential primary care

When committing to a four-week residential stay at our Cotswolds clinic isn’t possible due to other responsibilities and commitments, many opt for day-to-day care built around their schedule at our Bristol clinic. With the same level of expert care, this option allows you to break free from addiction and mental health disorders while still managing to meet your daily responsibilities.

2. Live-in residential secondary care

Fully recovering from substance addiction often takes months or even years. Even after successfully completing a residential multi-week treatment programme, reintegrating into a community can be challenging. Our Bristol facility offers residential secondary care that allows you to focus on successfully and confidently reentering society while still having access to Gladstones’ resources, therapy, and sober-living communities.

3. Central hub for aftercare

Gladstones Clinic is committed to long-term, holistic recovery from substance abuse and mental health disorders. Part of this commitment means that any and all former Gladstones patients have free and lifelong access to help, support, and community whenever required. Our Bristol clinic serves a central hub where many former patients regularly come together, celebrate their successes, and motivate each other towards continued sobriety.

FAQs about our Bristol Clinic

Gladstones Bristol offers residential care within our secondary addiction treatment programme only.

One of Gladstones’ overarching goals is to ensure that all of our residential patients who have received addiction or mental health disorder treatment have access to a safe and supportive environment from which to reintegrate into society while still having access to our resources and treatments.

Absolutely. We understand the challenges of seeking treatment while still managing to meet day-to-day responsibilities at work and home. Our Bristol clinic offers primary care for addiction, eating disorders, and mental health disorders built around your schedule, allowing you to continue working throughout treatment.

Those in residential (or daily) secondary care will also be able to continue working while completing our secondary treatment programme.

Since the primary care treatments and therapies provided at both our residential facility in the Cotswolds and our non-residential Bristol facility are identical, the only difference lies in not being able to provide medically supervised detox in Bristol.

Substance abuse detox can be uncomfortable and, in some cases, dangerous. We ensure our patients’ safety by providing round-the-clock medical supervision during detox, providing medical intervention to reduce discomfort and danger when neccessary.

Please contact us for more information about going through detox at our Cotswolds facility before transitioning to primary care on a day-to-day basis in Bristol.
